Dolphins vs. Taiji Killers - 2 for 2 this season

I think this means we are 2 for 2.

Two days of dolphin hunters from Taiji, Japan going out to herd dolphins in for the slaughter and 2 blue cove days- meaning no blood was spilled.

I know there are lots of people who are into football and other sports where they root for this team or that team, wear the clothes with the team colors, do the pre-game and other parties, spend lots of money to go to the games, and for them the sport is a really big deal.

The game result brings them great joy or great upset.

They really care about who wins.

To me ... this "score" is a MUCH bigger deal. Its not a fun sport designed to entertain. It's about death of magnificent creatures. The usual death toll each year is 20,000.

It's time to stop this madness!

Send out your love, light, and prayers to continue having Blue Cove Days!

Southern California with Dolphins & Whales Forever ~ 11

This is the eleventh post from On the Road with Dolphins & Whales Forever book and event tour. To read the first post, visit this link.To read the additional posts, visit the links at the bottom of the page.

Once I got back from 3 days on the sail boat, I drove once again to Oceanside, California to spend a few more days with the delightful Laurie Reyon. We had such a lovely time!

The view from one of my favorite beaches on the southern California coast
I spent several days visiting the ocean each day, collecting rocks and shells, meditating at the Self Realization Fellowship in Encinitas, California overlooking the water, walking barefoot on the sand, and writing.

One morning I got breakfast to go at a little coffee shop. I ended up in a conversation with the girl behind the counter. Somewhere in the middle we discussed that I was on a book tour. She asked the name of my books. When I mentioned Peering Through the Veil, she suddenly had a huge smile and said her mom had been telling her that she needed to read that book.

As soon as I got the beach, I sat down on a bench to unwrap my breakfast sandwich and suddenly felt I should look up. A whole pod of dolphins was swimming past. Ah ... breakfast with dolphins. It was so much fun!

Beautiful sunset over the Pacific Ocean

That evening Laurie and I took a stroll on the pier at Oceanside and saw dolphins again. We finished off my visit with a fabulous meal by the water.

Leaving the ocean was tough, but it was time to head inland for more adventures ...

Have a deLightful day,
